yes, please!  think of it as a playlist for image directories.

i take a lot of photos and even though i generally don't rename
them from the exciting IMG_1234.JPG names that come from the
camera, i would like to be able to show a subset of images
when my friends come over.

another enhancement request: an option to sort images by file timestamp rather
than by name.

my wife and i both have digital cameras.  sometimes we take
vacations with friends that also have digital cameras.  when
images are sorted by name, all of one person's photos come
first, then the next person's, then the next person's.
sorting by time interleaves all of the images in proper chronological order.
