I was out of the house for a while and read the manual. Thought I had found the answer... Page 25 of the manual shows two volume related settings in the Settings... menu. FIXED VOLUME OUTPUT (LINE LEVEL) ... USE EMBEDDED VOLUME ADJUSTEMENT I figured if Fixed was chosen and use embedded was not, DTS would probably work.
