Hi All,

Quick follow-up. I now have the net4801 booting without issue from the 
CF card with grub. I re-installed Debian but this time without the IDE 
HDD installed, set the CF as the primary disk and a small 100MB /boot 
partition.

Not sure which cured my problem but I suspect it was having the small 
boot partition at the start of the CF. I'm not going to try finding out, 
just happy that it's working :)
