Hello all, We are using solid state disks on the 6501, both as mSATA and normal SATA. These are the models that we have tried: MUSHKIN MKNSSDAT60GB-V (mSATA) MUSHKIN MKNSSDCR60GB-7 (SATA) Intel 320 40GB (SATA) Read performance is great, we see 150MB/s, but write performance is limited to 20MB/s regardless of which SSD or interface type that we use. This is evident in all of the kernels we have tried, including the stock CentOS 6.6 2.6.32-504.el6.x86_64 and 3.14.x. Is 20MB/s really the maximum write performance of the SATA bus? If not, what might be the issue? -- Eric Wheeler, President eWheeler, Inc. dba Global Linux Security 888-LINUX26 (888-546-8926) Fax: 503-716-3878 PO Box 25107 www.GlobalLinuxSecurity.pro Linux since 1996!
