I'm currently evaluating it as a firewall/router/switch (eth0 = wan, eth1-7 = lan). I haven't tested it with a few OpenVPN clients yet but on paper it looks like it should do fine with the load. Install was easy booting off a USB drive net install image. The only trick was making sure the installer stayed in text mode instead of graphical on the console output.
