So, let me see if I accurately understand the situation:

- The net6501 sometimes just dies.
- If it's under warrantly, you will get it replaced.  If not, you're effed.
- Your warranty replacement may die.  See above.
- The only useful information regarding this problem AT ALL in the past few
  YEARS has been suggestions on this mailing list for products to replace
  your Soekris with.
- This whole shitshow is the sad coda for a once-great product line.
- The "proven reliability" claim on the Soekris home page is a cruel joke.
- The people still left on this mailing list are apparantly gluttons for
  punishment.
