VCC was "the" Coco emulator back in the day, but now we have other 
choices.  The most popular emulator now is Xroar, which emulates the 
Coco1,2,3 and Dragon computers.

There is also good ole MAME, which emulates everything.


I don't know where you are downloading VCC from, but the archive has the 
latest, see if they work better for you.
