 The warning is a "False Positive" one. You may half to go into Google (or whatever) and set it to ignore the VCC warning. I thought that issue had been fixed.
Another alternative is to download the ".zip" file and install it yourself. It can be installed anywhere, but you'll have to provide your own desktop shortcut.
I know who compiles the releases and I know they're safe.
On another note, in the past 3 years, VCC has been going through MAJOR updates and added features. The list is quite long. VCC is more robust than it's ever been. I dare you to try it.
