Well, I found out RVEC22 is even MORE overloaded than I thought in
CB/ECB/DECB, and I have to check the return address to see if the CLS hook
is being called within RENUM (no, really) and refrain from doing a lot of
things I was doing.

"Dirty" doesn't do it justice. But whew, one less bug. And I didn't have to
whip out the MAME debugger OR the XRoar GDB integration. (Which I wasn't
able to. For example, checking out m6809-gdb from that address locks up.)
