I have an old text document with embedded dot formatting commands. I do not remember which tool I used to make it. I think this was under OS-9 at the time. I used the VED editor, and had VPT for it, but that VPT does not recognize the first code, so likely wasn’t used.
Anyone recognize these escapes?

HELLO! We are[14] sorry that we were unable to personally attend this[1] year's CocoFest. We had some commercial accounts we needed to attend to and thus were unavailable. We hope to see you[9] next year at the 1995 Chicago CocoFest or at the upcoming Klystrone Con[4] '95 in Aneheim.

Copilot AI was able to convert it for me and seems to have guessed properly, but I have a bunch of Sub-Etha Software manuals and such with these embedded codes and want to export them to formatted 80 column text documents so I can get them to the archive in a better readable version than with all he dot codes.
Anyone know?
