I do not recall scred being anything more than a text editor (wasn’t it provided with OS-9?). I seem to recall using it at first, and maybe right up until I started using VED.

When I get a moment, I am going to see if it might have been one of the TS utilities.

Early on, I did Sub-Etha docs using RS-DOS programs (like Simply Better). At some point, I was using OS-9 utilities — always liked being able to print something that might take 10 minutes while still being able to use the CoCo for other things.
