Indeed, the CoCo3 and OS9 was incredible for its time and price! A
multitasking UNIX-like (sort-of) OS in the 1980s for a few hundred
dollars? We were living in the future!!

Later in university when I started working on SunOS servers I always
thought this is similar to OS-9 so felt right at home. Later went to
work at Sun and that's been my career ever since. Thanks to Radio
Shack and the CoCo and OS-9.

To this day in 2026, my shell alias for 'ls -laF' is 'dire' because in
OS-9 it was 'dir -e' so that's hardwired into my muscle memory for life.

Love this list even if hardly ever post. I don't have access to
proprietary discord where apparently something goes on, so it is
wonderful to follow the CoCo world here.
