Hi Peter, this was never intended for public consumption. I literally dashed it off in a few minutes for a long time friend who wanted to understand the basics behind interrupts, so that he could modify some simple code I wrote for him, and understand it better, and yes, it would have been improved by mentioning interrupt priority and stacking, and I could also have mentioned that NMI's are still active despite the GIE bit being off, but hindsight and more time are great things!
