I placed an order some years ago, and paid for it by CC immediately, I
bought 2 each of their first development tools. almost 4 years later,
out of nowhere I received various letters, emails and other threats to
sue me for non-payment. Their books weren't in order, but they blamed
me, and got quite shitty about it. The old CC had been replaced, so it
was difficult to get a copy. Eventually I did and they seemed to go
away. 3 months later I received another bunch of similar threats over a
$60,000 order which I'd never placed, it was from another company based
in the USA. Again they refused to accept they'd made a mistake, so I had
to waste time and money proving them wrong. never got an apology for
either, or reimbursed for my costs. So "a real dog".

So far I haven't seen anything in their product range that I can't do
with an MSP, and the G series is as affordable as anything out there. I
could move to another family for the sake of it, the MSP430 is getting a
bit long in the tooth, and Ti are moving it well away from the stuff I'm
interested in, but, frankly, I haven't found an application yet, I
wanted to do, that the MSP430 can't handle.

Cheers

Al
