Audiotron & NAS (specifically Linksys NSLU2)

I know this was discussed a few months back. At the time, some people reported no problems with an Audiotron and an NSLU2. Others reported significant problems. Did the people with significant problems find solutions? These are now available in Canada (finally) for quite a good price ($100 Cdn).
