Wow, I bought the NSLU2 and the Maxtor One Touch II
300GB from Best Buy on  the same day because of the
cross promotion. Unfortunatly I didn't read carefully
enough to the extra rebate was only if you bought the
original One Touch, not the II. But I had no trouble
at all formatting the 300. I have over 200GB or mp3
and video files now that are being accessed by the
Audiotron, 2 pcs, one mac, once XBOX with Xbox Media
Center and I haven't had a problem yet. I think I've
been running it for two months now.

I'm glad I have backups of all the files now
especially if I'm using something that they won't
support. That 80GB limit on formatting sounds
extremely low. I would never have bought it with a
limit like that.
