Yes, and that's an _excellent_ business model for VTB. Frankly, VTB abandoned the market, and the market is moving on. Nothing yet equates to the Audiotron, but there are some close competitors out there. Unless VTB re-enters the market, this is a dead forum for anything but legacy product support and third party software. While Seth may disagree, I personally can see no reason not to discuss AT replacements here. As the existing units die, people are going to want to replace them with something. Who better to ask than people who are already familiar with what you are looking for? Personally, I have been planning on writing an interface between the Audiotrons and Russound's CAV6.6 system, but frankly I don't see much use to it anymore. I'll keep using my 3 ATs in audio stacks, but for whole house audio, I'll be buying Russound's player. As an avid Audiotron booster for many years, all I can say now is it's dead, it's gone, and there's no point trying to hang on to the past. And you can't blame the user community for it, so don't beat up on the ones looking for the "next thing". ----- Original Message ----- From: "Michael Wagner" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, December 28, 2004 7:15 PM Subject: Re: [AT] Audiotron for Sale (Other Devices) > At 28/12/2004 06:37 PM, you wrote: > > Might give them some idea that there customers wanted before they killed > it off! > > Audiotrons still sell on eBay USED for above their last (new) retail sales > price.
