Open source firmware?

If, as has been mentioned on these lists, the Audiotron really is a
"dead" product - what is the likelihood of the firmware getting released
as open source?

If nothing else, it would be good PR for Turtle Beach, surely? But also
we could finally perhaps get native support for, eg, FLAC files, the
ability to connect directly to a MySQL back end database for track
listings, and other such esoteric features!
