Thanks Stan. I did come across this page during my search -- it pointed me in the right direction, but it didn't provide the simplicity I was looking for. Boris talks about soldering and hacking into the actual processor in order to make his fix work -- I took a simpler approach and spliced the power cable with an inline toggle switch. Sort of crude, but it looks GREAT and more importantly, it kept me from meddling with sodder guns and possibly frying my AT -- I sure wouldn't want that!! I have yet to see or hear about any media console that even comes close to the AT -- and the AT's are harder and harder to find now days. >From: Stan Abeln <[email protected]> >Reply-To: [email protected] >To: [email protected] >Subject: Re: [AT] New Thread: Front Panel Reset Button >Date: Sun, 2 Jan 2005 22:05:57 +0100 > >Lester Mullert wrote: >>I just finished taking the plunge and hacking the front panel of my AT to >>exorcise it of the dreaded headphone plug and replace it with a "state of >>the art" toggle switch that allows me to reset the AT without developing >>carpel-tunnel by using the rear switch it comes with. > >You may also want to check out Boris Pasternak's instructions here: >http://www.pasternak.net/boris/audiotron.shtml > >Stan
