Thanks Stan.  I did come across this page during my search -- it pointed me
in the right direction, but it didn't provide the simplicity I was looking
for.  Boris talks about soldering and hacking into the actual processor in
order to make his fix work -- I took a simpler approach and spliced the
power cable with an inline toggle switch.  Sort of crude, but it looks GREAT
and more importantly, it kept me from meddling with sodder guns and possibly
frying my AT -- I sure wouldn't want that!!

I have yet to see or hear about any media console that even comes close to
the AT -- and the AT's are harder and harder to find now days.
