I stumbled across Sonos by reading a review of their new system in the Feb issue of Sound and Vision. Take a look - http://www.sonos.com - I'm impressed. A few things I think they did right ... a) a great looking remote with display and iPod-style spin wheel; b) appears no server software is required since it supports NAS boxes; music is stored on the network, not in their box, c) the system is multi-zone aware and has the ability to play the same selections in sync across zones. Two issues is that the stuff is a little pricy - $500 per ZonePlayer, $400 per Controller; and there is no "component" version (with digital out, etc) for use with an existing system ... the ZonePlayer has built-in amps. Anyway, probably the most interesting system I've seen ... comments or observations welcome. AndyN
