I agree that the with all that.... But the home market can only be
exploitable if the products are plug and play. Lets be realistic....we
are the minority: the people that will deal with SMB shares, XBMC,
linux, NAS, etc. The rest of the population either does not have the
time or worst they do not have the knowledge and they just want
something that works, regardless if it has an ogg codec or server side
software, etc.

You miss the point. The residential homes market is the one that counts.
Just think of the number of residential homes, and the fact that a
growing and quite significant percentage of these households already own
digital cameras, digital VCRs, digital audio players, etc. No wonder the
who-is-who of the industry is trying to get products out and a foot into
the door. Everybody's door, in fact.

The products are sexy, and the market is explosive. Interesting mixture
