In which case, it's driven by the > *content* of the folder, and not the name? Ah, another good point! When I do a "DIR" on my full music directory it seems to show all of the subdirectories. And TOCMaker does list empty directories, so it's not being fooled by an apparent lack of files in some of them. Another disadvantage of the Argosy that I forgot to mention earlier is that it seems to overwrite the timestamp on files when you copy them to it. This totally breaks my system of keeping the remote copy of my music database synchronized with the "master" copy on my desktop computer, which was to use a tree-synchronization program (TreeComp; http://www.xs4all.nl/~lploeger/TreeComp3.htm) to transfer changes from my master to the remote. Without being able to rely on timestamps it can only use file size to note changes, which I assume will miss minor changes like MP3Gain adjustments or minor fixes in ID3 tags. Bummer! -- Robin
