Looks likes a generic MIPS-architecture CPU, probably a
system-on-a-chip. That specific model (R2881) is not listed on RDC's web
site, but a similar unit is.

I can't find any Google references to specific operating systems for
that NPU, but there are lots of them that will run on MIPS.
