I'd like to have my cake and eat it too.

Don't prohibit server side software ... i.e. I like the fact that the
"database" part of the squeezebox software runs on an upgradeable platform
of my choice.

So if this project is either open source or at least multi-sourced, I'd
like it if the server bits could run on the AT for people for whom that
works, but also on a server for those thus better served (pun intended).

I'd rather have 2 form factor choices. I like my AT rack mounted for when
it goes with me inside a DJ head to a gig. But when I'm doing a small gig,
I prefer the SLIM form factor. Since the board inside the AT is really
about the size of slim here, we could offer the same board in both form
factors.
