ACM Interactive Health pre-conference online event (June 1st)

ACM Interactive Health (IH) is fast approaching. The first session of
IH will be the pre-conference online event <https://ih.acm.org/online-event>,
a 2-hour session on June 1st, which will include a keynote from Ann
Blanford and 10+ talks. Talks will be divided into breakout rooms so that
authors have time to deliver their presentation, and there is ample time to
discuss work and confer.

The pre-conference online event will take place on Monday, June 1, 2026,
6-8am PT, 9-11am ET, 14:00-16:00 WEST, 15:00-17:00 CEST, 18:30-20:30 IST,
23:00-01:00 AEST.

We are excited to announce that we will start with a keynote by Ann
Blandford, Professor of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) at University
College London. Professor Blandford is a veteran researcher at the
intersection of HCI and Health and will regale us with her research tales,
triumphs, and tribulations. We will then have an exciting hour of breakout
presentations with moderated panels as an opportunity to get to know the
folks and work in our nascent but growing Interactive Health community.

The pre-conference online event is an opportunity to build community and
excitement ahead of the conference and include all community members who
can’t join us in Porto in July.
