*CALL FOR LATE BREAKING
RESEARCH*
Dear colleagues,
The organising committee of the 14th International Conference on Affective
Computing and Intelligent Interaction (ACII 2026) invites submissions to
the Late-Breaking Research (LBR) track. The submission deadline is *28 June
2026 (Extended!)*.
ACII is the premier venue for interdisciplinary research on the design of
systems that can recognise, interpret, and simulate human emotions and,
more generally, affective phenomena. ACII 2026 will be held as an in-person
event in Puebla, Mexico, September 7th – 11th, 2026.
*The Late Breaking Research* (LBR) track at ACII provides a venue for
authors to share early-stage work and new ideas that contribute to the
community but have not yet reached a level of validation and maturity to be
suitable for the main or special tracks.
The LBR track offers an opportunity to receive feedback from the community
on early-stage work, explore potential collaborations, and engage in
thought-provoking discussions. All LBR submissions will be peer-reviewed,
presented at the conference as poster presentations, and published as
extended abstracts in the conference proceedings. Please note that, due to
the short turnaround time, authors may not receive detailed peer-review
comments beyond the acceptance decision. Our goal is to ensure that the LBR
track is engaging and inclusive, while showcasing a diverse range of
projects being undertaken within the ACII community.
*IMPORTANT DATES*
All deadlines are in the Anywhere on Earth timezone.
Submission Deadline: 20 June 2026* 28 June 2026*
Notification of Acceptance: *15 July 2026*
Camera Ready Submissions:
*24 July 2026*
*SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS*
Authors must submit their LBR submissions through the EasyChair system to
the Late Breaking Research (LBR) track. Submissions may be up to 4 pages in
length, with the required Ethical Statement and references excluded from
the page limit. The format should be the same as the main track IEEE
specification and should follow the same instructions.
*LBR CHAIRS*
