[WONS 2027] Call for Papers - January 25–27, 2027, Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy

Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to invite you to submit your work to the 22nd IFIP International Conference on Wireless On-demand Network Systems and Services (WONS 2027), which will take place January 25–27, 2027, in Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy.
WONS is a well-established international conference dedicated to wireless on-demand networking, providing an intimate and stimulating venue for researchers and practitioners to exchange ideas and discuss the latest advances in the field.
The conference welcomes original contributions on all aspects of wireless on-demand networks and systems, including (but not limited to):


  *   Cognitive radio and heterogeneous wireless networks
  *   5G/6G and non-terrestrial networking
  *   Energy-efficient and green wireless systems
  *   Mesh, sensor, vehicular, and mobile networks
  *   Security, privacy, and trust
  *   Performance evaluation, modeling, optimization, and experimental testbeds
  *   Emerging applications and services

Authors may submit:


  *   Long papers (up to 8 pages) – novel research contributions
  *   Short papers (up to 4 pages) – ongoing work and visionary research directions
  *   Posters (up to 2 pages) – preliminary results, work in progress, and ideas suitable for interactive discussion

Important dates


  *   Paper registration: October 2, 2026
  *   Paper submission: October 9, 2026
  *   Acceptance notification: November 13, 2026
  *   Final manuscript: December 11, 2026

Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore. Selected papers will also be invited to submit an extended version to a Special Issue of Elsevier's Computer Communications. For more information, please visit:
