The ACM Conference on Intelligent User Interfaces (ACM IUI) is the =
annual premier venue where researchers and practitioners meet and =
discuss state-of-the-art advances at the intersection of Artificial =
Intelligence (AI) and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). Ideal IUI =
submissions should address practical HCI challenges using machine =
intelligence and discuss both computational and human-centric aspects of =
such methodologies, techniques, and systems.

We are pleased to invite proposals for tutorials to be held in =
conjunction with the conference. Tutorials are designed to provide =
fundamental knowledge and experience on topics related to intelligent =
user interfaces, and the intersection between Human-Computer Interaction =
(HCI) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Important Dates (AoE)

* Tutorial Notification: Sep 18th, 2026
* Tutorial Camera Ready Deadline: Dec. 10th, 2026

Tutorial Scope
We invite proposals for tutorials on specific topics relevant to IUI, =
including:
* Methods and approaches in HCI and AI.
* Specific techniques or algorithms to develop intelligent user =
interfaces.
* Full-day or half-day sessions providing hands-on experience or =
fundamental knowledge.

Organizer Responsibilities
* Publicity: Organizers are responsible for producing a CFP and =
publicizing it to relevant newsgroups and electronic mailing lists.
* Website: Organizers will maintain their own website which will be =

* Template: Latest Word Submission Template or LaTeX template.
* Submission Link: PCS 2.0 (Select SIGCHI -> IUI 2027 -> IUI 2027 =
Tutorials).
* Contact: We encourage you to contact the chairs with your ideas =
([email protected] <mailto:[email protected]>) to work =
together on the proposal.

Proposal Organization

brief background and a list of other tutorials/workshops organized in =
the past. Indicate the primary contact.
5. Participants: Expected number of participants and plan for =
invitation.
6. Tutorial activities: Description of teaching activities and hands-on =
exercises. List all materials provided (e.g., slides, hardware/software =
access, handouts).
7. Planned outcomes: What the tutorial aims to achieve by the end of the =
session.
8. Length: Full-day or half-day.
