Dear colleagues, The countdown is on. Early-bird registration for IEEE Real-Time Communications Conference (RTC 2026) closes Sunday, August 23, 2026. Join software developers, network engineers, researchers, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders in Chicago on September 22 and 23 for the IEEE Real Time Communications Conference & Expo at Illinois Tech. Hosted by the IEEE Chicago Section and the RTC Lab at Illinois Tech, it's two days of an open exchange of ideas driving the future of real-time communications. What's on the program: AI in RTC, WebRTC & Applications, Programmable Networks, Emergency Communications (NG911), a research track with IEEE Xplore publication, and the CQR Workshop. Venue: Hermann Hall, IIT Mies Campus, 3241 S. Federal Street, Chicago, IL. Speakers must be able to present in-person. The AI in RTC track is closed for speakers, but other tracks are open for speakers. Students are welcome to present their research work in a Poster Session, please see Call for Posters here: https://rtc-conference.com/call-for-posters. Poster proposals are due September 9, 2026. If you’re a company or represent a company and are willing to help be a patron to support the conference, we welcome you to submit a form to be a patron or scholarship donor.
