And how can we design futures where our primary realities and alternative realities coexist in ways that feel seamless/meaningful? "
If these spark your curiosity or interest, we warmly invite you to join our one-day workshop: “Designing Multi-Reality Futures: Speculative Explorations of Seamless and Meaningful XR Experiences” at NordiCHI 2026.
Together, we’ll explore how transitions between realities work, where friction emerges, and why it matters. We’ll also imagine what future multi-reality experiences could look like through collaborative scenario building and bodystorming sessions where ideas take shape through doing . Finally, we’ll take a step back and reflect on these alternative futures from social, technological, and broader societal perspectives.
