📢 We are pleased to announce a Call for Papers for the Special Issue:
“Extreme Super-Resolution: Pushing the Boundaries of Image and Video Enhancement”
to be published in Signal Processing: Image Communication (Elsevier).
🚀 Scope
This Special Issue aims to bring together recent advances in extreme image and video super-resolution, with particular interest in novel methods capable of recovering and enhancing visual information under challenging conditions and at very large upscaling factors.
💡 Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
🔬 Extreme and large-scale image/video super-resolution
🧠 Deep learning and generative approaches for super-resolution
📷 Real-world and blind super-resolution
✨ Image and video restoration and enhancement
👁️ Perceptual quality and evaluation of super-resolved content
⚡ Efficient and lightweight SR architectures
🌐 Domain-specific and emerging applications
📊 New datasets, benchmarks, and evaluation methodologies
