We are pleased to announce the publication of the renovated version of the WebML site (http://www.webml.org) The site is a resource center for teaching and research on Web Information Systems Design, Web Applications and Interfaces Design based on the methodology illustrated in the book: Designing Data-Intensive Web Applications Stefano Ceri, Piero Fraternali, Aldo Bongio, Marco Brambilla, Sara Comai, and Maristella Matera Morgan Kaufmann Publishers Paperback, 562 pages ISBN 1-55860-843-5 The WebML site addresses the development of data-intensive Web applications, using an innovative approach based on high-level conceptual design. The site is targeted especially to teachers and students of courses on Advanced Databases, Web Information Systems, Human Interfaces, Conceptual Modelling, Software and Web Engineering. Features: Self-contained introduction to the conceptual modelling of Web applications, using well-known industry standards such as UML and the Entity-Relationship Model, and the Web Modelling Language.
