Journal of Functional Materials and Chemical Engineering (JFCME) is an
international Open Access journal that publishes original research articles
and review articles in the field of functional materials and chemical
engineering. This journal covers Nanomanufacturing, Biotechnology, Particle
technology and Chemical engineering related to functional materials and
chemical engineering.

Editor-in-chief:
Prof. Mohamed F. R. Hassanien, Zagazig University, Egypt
Prof. Dr. Mohamed F. R. Hassanien is currently working as a Professor of
Biochemistry at Zagazig University (Egypt). Prof. Hassanien obtained his
Ph.D. (Dr.rer.nat.) in Food Chemistry from Berlin University of Technology
(Germany, 2004). As post-doctoral researcher, Prof. Hassanien continued his
research in ranked universities in different countries such University of
Helsinki (Finland), Max-Rubner Institute (Germany), Berlin University of
Technology (Germany), and University of Maryland (USA). In 2010, he was
invited to be visiting Professor (100% research) at King Saud University in
Saudi Arabia. In 2012, he was invited to be visiting Professor (100%
teaching) in School of Biomedicine, Far Eastern Federal University in
Vladivostok, Russian Federation.


The journal publishes manuscripts in two ways, one in a regular issue and
the other in a special issue. The regular issue of the journal in 2019 has

In addition, we welcome scholars to contribute their articles to our
journal. The article will be peer-reviewed by Editorial Board and you will
receive reply from Editorial Office of the journal. After through the
peer-reviewed, the article will proceed typesetting, if there is nothing
need to modify, the article will online within two weeks.
