Transart Institute seeks five Artist Teachers to teach interdisciplinary creative workshops and give critiques in Low Residency MFA Program for six days, July 2006 in Linz, Austria. Additional possibility to mentor student's with their independent projects during the year. Workshops at the Transart Institute address development of artistic praxis rather than training in certain media or authoring tools, challenging students to think conceptually and work creatively in new ways. Broad workshop topics include: a) Voice, Body, Sound b) Language and Image, c) Documentation, but other topics will also be considered. Students respond to workshop assignments in whatever media they are comfortable with, working independently between classes. Graduate level teaching experience a plus. Please submit CV and outlines of courses taught or outlines of workshop proposals by Jan. 15, 2006 to: [email protected] and indicate availability for July 1-6, July 7-12, July 21-26 and/or July 27-August 1.
