I wanted to make sure that you received this from at least one mailing list. Many of you
may have received this directly from AIGA.

This survey seeks information from those teaching in the United States.

Please forgive duplicate or irrelevant postings.

March 9, 2006

Dear Design Educator,

AIGA wants to provide design educators like you with information that will help you and
your institution be even more successful. To that end, we are undertaking the first ever
national survey of design educator salaries.

To preserve confidentiality, we have asked MemberSurvey.com to host and process the
survey. Your answers will be held in strict confidence; no respondent-identifiable or
organization-identifiable information will be published in the report, nor will your email
address or responses be used for any other purpose.

All who submit completed surveys will be sent a free executive summary of the results.
Full results will be available through AIGA in the summer of 2006.

We ask two things:

1) Complete the survey yourself by pointing your browser to:

      http://www.membersurvey.com/aiga/2006EducatorSurvey.asp?xxqlrwrcp

2) Forward this invitation to other design educators you may know - the more who
participate, the more valuable the data will be. We ask you to do this because
unfortunately, there is no larger, current list of design educators. Please let those you
forward it to know that returns will be accepted through March 26.

Thank you in advance for helping AIGA bring this benefit to the entire design education
community.
