EMERGENCE CONFERENCE 2006 | Service Hosted by Carnegie Mellon University's School of Design We are pleased to announce this year's Emergence conference, to be held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, September 8-10, 2006. This will be the inaugural year for Emergence, a transdisciplinary event where emergent themes and practices in design are explored and fostered. This fall's conference will bring together individuals from business, social sciences, technology, and design to investigate the current and future paths for service design.
