Hi Bob,

I am wondering if Alain is aware that there is already a Senate Bill to
propose a National Innovation Council? It does not mention design (small
lip-service to service design), but will probably be reintroduced to the new
Congress. It comes with a $1 billion per year price tag, so we will see.

Senators Collins and Clinton Introduce Bill to Create National Innovation
Council

The creation of a single organization to consolidate federal innovation
investments, called for by the Brookings Institution and the Information
Technology and Innovation Foundation (ITIF) (see the April 23, 2008 <> issue
