Dear Colleagues,
We received a warning note this morning about a fake web site for a suppose=
d 2010 conference of the International Association of Societies for Design =
Research (IASDR). The fake site purports to be mounted by the Technological=
University of Delft, the host of the actual IASDR conference that takes pl=
ace in late 2011. I am sharing this warning with people in our faculty and =
with other colleagues in Australia, New Zealand, and the Asia Pacific regio=
n. Please share this information with your colleagues.
As Communication Secretary of the Design Research Society, Prof. David Durl=
ing has taken action to close the site. In the meantime, please be aware th=
at the official conference web site is hosted by the Technological Universi=
ty of Delft:

Right now, this is a simple place-holder at the web site of TUD. Since the =
deadline for submitting abstracts is next January, there has not yet been a=
call.
The real IASDR conference in Delft will be a memorable event. If you have a=
paper in mind, it doesn't hurt to start writing. But wait for real call fr=
om Delft to send your abstract in.
