*Flow Charts and Site Maps and Concept Models, oh my!*
In October and November, EightShapes will be offering two workshops on
taking a visual approach to web site planning. EightShapes principal Dan
Brown will show how flow charts, site maps, and concept models can
facilitate the planning process by helping the project team visualize the
whole project.

*Convenient locations in Washington, DC*
Both sessions will be held in the Washington, DC area. The first half-day
session will be held on Friday, October 15 in Bethesda, MD, and the second
on Friday, November 12 in Downtown DC. Both locations are conveniently
located a few blocks from the Metro.

*Based on New, Updated Version of Communicating Design*
On sale at the workshop will be the second edition of Communicating Design,
a major revision of the landmark book that for many user experience
designers is the bible of design documentation. This edition includes a
larger format, updated content, and a new structure. There are many more
examples in each chapter, and many chapters include contributions from majo=
r
industry figures.

*Register at Early Bird rate for savings of 15%*
