Hi Jennifer,
thank you for sharing this with everyone. I find this very interesting as it is not something I have seen anyone write about. I am going to ask around the folks I work with to see if they had any thoughts or ideas on this point.
best,
susan

  Subject: [AIGAExperienceDesign] client experience?

  Hi,
My name is Jennifer Johnson and I'm a newbie both to the group and to
  Communication Design.
I received a tip for presenting to clients from a retired Creative
Director and I wanted to see if anyone had any similar
  experiences/tips.
Per Ms. Creative Director: Whenever she was presenting ideas to a
client she would pick the one she thought was the best and wear a
suit/outfit that had the same color scheme as the graphic
presentation. She said it worked to sell her idea every time.
  What do you think?
  Jennifer
