"Design Rules"

I personally subscribe to this list as a way of stretching my thinking (thank you all!) Now, at work we are compiling an informal list of "Design Rules." We are developers and designeers of interactive science center exhibitions and very much consider ourselves "designers of experiences" for the large groups that come to our science center/museum.

I would love to hear your "rules" - short and sweet - to add to our list and will happily post the list here once it is compiled.
