Dear Colleagues:

I recently approached a well-established customer-satisfaction company about
setting up a pilot experience-design practice to complement their work.

The other company excels at measuring for clients how their customers feel
about dealing with them. It uses both quantitative and qualitative methods.
The issues it addresses occur in physical space among individuals, not
online (although the latter may be relevant).

The management at the other company are very open.

Currently, the other company is examining their client list to see who might
require design solutions. I'm doing some polling, too. There's an apparent
need. So now it's up to us to make things happen.

If you're an experience designer working in the larger realm of "touch
points" and interested in a loose affiliation to test the concept, please
get in touch. This can (and should) include designers, strategists,
ethnographers, and other relevant disciplines while we test the mix.

Then we have some preparation to do!

Thanks for sending me a note and, if you have one handy, a resume or pointer
to a website. I'd like to take the other group up on their proposal ASAP.
Thanks.

   Bob

PS Put PILOT in your Subject line to make sure that I read your email
promptly.
