I think we have all through this, looking for a some sort of software capable of helping us streamline work, organize projects and - what do you know - even make our clients think in design-mode for once. After quite some research all I found was some over-priced systems that were as complicated as design applications and others that had no features whatsoever. What I fond most ridiculuos was the fact that our category counts over 200,000 professionals and 1/3 of us, among which myself, are self-employed and cannot afford $200-300 dollars a month for systems that have a steep learning curve or have no features. Since my job as a designer is focused almost 100% on the Web, I know what an online application must look like but I also know how difficult it is to convey your ideas to developers who only speak computer lingo. Fortunately, things are changing and some small a dynamic software companies are trying to reach us in help. The best I found is called PLEENK, at pleenk.com. I'm currently using their systems to get my clients to send me the files I need and to get my comps approved online. I just wanted to let everyone know to please support these efforts. It's nice to know that someone is on our side! Fabrice ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> $9.95 domain names from Yahoo!.
