Font Management for Windows

I'm curious to know what font management applications  are favored by those
of you who use Windows.  (Please, no Windows bashing; it's what I was stuck
with, not what I prefer.)  I'm particularly interested in the experiences of
those of you running on the XP platform.
 
For a long while, I used Suitcase 9 with a moderate amount of satisfaction.
When I upgraded to Quark 6, I decided to simultaneously upgrade to Suitcase
9.2.  Bad decision.  Ever since then, I've been looking for font management
alternatives.  Suitcase doesn't seem to play well with the new version of
Quark.  When I load a new font, I have to exit out of Quark and then restart
before the font will show up on the toolbar menu.  Also, I'm not thrilled
with Suitcase's new "streamlined" way of loading fonts.  The choice of
loading fonts permanently or temporarily is no longer an individual choice
made on the toolbar, but is done via a setting in the preferences menu.
This means that once you've set it, it will treat all future fonts the same
way, until the next time you change the setting.  To me, that's a lessening
of capabilities, not an enhancement.  I can't figure out why Extensis did
that.
 
Has anyone used Printer's Apprentice?  Font Reserve?  Anything else?

P.S.  It should go without saying, I suppose, but any software discussed
should be able to handle T1, OT & TT fonts.
