I think Peter's point is that AIGA-ED is not just about GA (graphic
arts), but is for Experience Design in the digital domain (primarily)
and many of the people here consist of various points of the
x-discipline chain that makes up Experience Design.
Examples are:
Presentation:
   Visual Design
   Industrial Design
   GUI Design

Structure & Definition:
   Information Architecture

Behavior:
   Interaction Design

Strategists
Researchers
Evaluators (usability engineers)

All titles not meant to say that people with those titles ONLY do
those actions, but to segment out a list of roles that can shared by
many or in the head/brain of one.
