Denver User Experience Design Event - Wed. Jan 26th

The Colorado Chapter of the AIGA User Experience Design Community is 
pleased to kick off a year of events with a visit from Peter Merholz 
of Adaptive Path.

The Power of Experience Design 

In his talk, Peter Merholz will lay the groundwork for considering 
the complete user experience, making apparent the startling 
complexity of doing this work well. He'll discuss the basics of a 
good user experience process, and look to the future of self-
centered design, where users become increasingly active participants 
in the design of the products they use.

About the Speaker 

Peter Merholz is a founding partner of Adaptive Path, a premier user 
experience consulting company. He is an experienced information 
architect, writer, speaker, and leader in the field of user-
experience design. His recent clients include PeopleSoft, Yahama, 
Wells Fargo, and Network Associates. Peter played an integral role 
in unifying PeopleSoft's 3 disparate Web properties into one unified 
presence.

Peter is a regular speaker at Web design and information 
architecture conferences, such as ASIS&T's Information Architecture 
Summits (years 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004). He keynoted both the 
Institute of Design's 2003 About With and For conference, and 2004 
SIGCHI.NL, the premiere Dutch HCI conference.

Peter is an active member of the American Society of Information 
Science and Technology and ACM's SIG-CHI. He serves on the 
organizing committees for the Designing User Experience conference 
and Information Architecture summit.
