THE TRANSART INSTITUTE is looking for mentors from all countries to work one-on-one with international students in Europe's first low- residency MFA program. ARTIST AND MEDIA MENTORS: Mentors are sponsored by the Institute to work with students on a one-on-one basis off-site during semesters between residencies. Responsibilities include a minimum of three meetings for critiques and advisement on the student's media independent study projects plus a mid-term and final written evaluation each semester. Student and Mentor make schedule arrangements between themselves. HONORARIUM: USD 1300/1000 Euros per year. Mentors can work with students for one or two semesters and can work with more than one student. APPLICATION: www.mentors.transartinstitute.org TRANSART INSTITUTE Master of Fine Arts Program in New Media: This international low-residency two-year graduate art program leads to an MFA in New Media. Students are free to pursue work in any media art- related genre and to create their own course of study, working independently and with the support of self-chosen faculty and artist mentors. Three intensive residencies permit students to continue with their professional life while participating in the program. Genres include: Animation, Architecture, Cyber Art, Experimental Art, Film/Video, Graphic Design, Installation Art, Interactive Art, Interdisciplinary Art, Performance Art, Photography, and Sound/Music.
