Two interesting observations... Of course, please add if you know of anything else.... 1) Aldus merged with Adobe back in the early nineties... Aldus had to two key products: Freehand and Pagemaker... For the deal to go through, it was deemed that Freehand would have to be sold. So, Macromedia bought it. http://www.seyboldreports.com/SRDP/0dp9/D0901013.HTM <http://www.seyboldreports.com/SRDP/0dp9/D0901013.HTM> In today¹s economy, I¹m betting that they won't have this issue of innovation due to competing products from Corel and Microsoft, etc... Of course, I feel that both Adobe and Macromedia have pushed innovation in a healthy/positive way in the last few years. Minus the ³feature-creep², they both have helped interface development. Let¹s keep our fingers crossed that this keeps going in the right direction.... 2) I¹ve never seen this, but I found it interesting. Check out the following link: http://www.macromedia.com/macromedia/proom/pr/2005/adobe_macromedia.html <http://www.macromedia.com/macromedia/proom/pr/2005/adobe_macromedia.html> Look at the disclaimer under ³Forward Looking Statements²... Is this only for pending merger disclaimers or the overly cautious? ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Has someone you know been affected by illness or disease?
