Quoting Chuck Hagenbuch <[email protected]>: > folks seen this? > http://theopenphotoproject.org/ Yea, though I'm not super impressed. The idea is interesting, and probably fits a certain niche. I think they underestimate/misunderstand one of the main reasons people use services such as flickr - the community. The API is interesting though. Anyway, will be interesting to keep an eye on for when they eventually implement importing from flickr et al (so we can maybe use some of the code), and might be eventually worth seeing if we could support being a storage backend for it as well... The good news is looking at their planned feature list, Ansel already has a bunch of them :) -- mike The Horde Project (www.horde.org) [email protected] -- ansel mailing list - Join the hunt: http://horde.org/bounties/#ansel Frequently Asked Questions: http://horde.org/faq/ To unsubscribe, mail: [email protected]
