Looks like either you hit against PHP's memory limit, or perhaps the  
image was greater than the configured allowed maximum image size.  
Which upload method are you using? The dynamic uploader is *supposed*  
to allow any size image by using a stream. If you tried this with the  
"dynamic" uploader, try forcing the older uploader (this is a user  
pref) and post back what results you get. Could be a bug in the  
uploader. What browser/version are you using?
